I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic job your team did to fix my Jetta in a quick and professional manner. Early Monday morning, December 26th, I was provided with excellent repair service at Ed Schmidt in Perrysburg, and I truly appreciate it! Due to my hectic work schedule, I was only able to come back to my hometown of Perrysburg for two days to celebrate Christmas with my family. On Christmas day, I was out running an errand for my mom when I noticed that I couldn't lock my Jetta with the remote and my driver's side window wasn't going down. As I went to go fill my gas tank I realized that I wouldn't be able to fill it because there was no electrical connection from my driver's side door to the rest of the system. I had to be at work in Washington, DC on Tuesday so first thing on Monday morning, I headed over to your shop and was greeted by Mr. Niemic who immediately set about to get my car checked out. Within a few short hours, your amazing team fixed my car which allowed me to get on the road safely and back to my home in Maryland. Mr. Niemic took the time to let me know exactly what was the issues were and even addressed an unrelated problem I was having with my trunk. Additionally, he offered to have a shuttle drive me back to my parent's house. In over 20 years of dealing with car related problems, I have never met such a professional and courteous team. I am incredibly grateful for all of what your team was able to do for me and will most assuredly come back for any other issue that may arise. Thanks for taking the time to go the extra mile for me. Dan Wagner called in today to compliment Brandon Thayer on his excellent service. He drives an ’07 Volvo XC90. He called his local Ann Arbor Volvo dealer to report that he was unable to get the vehicle out of park. They told him they would maybe be able to help him next Tuesday. Unhappy with the long wait to be seen, he Googled “Volvo Dealers” and came across Ed Schmidt. Brandon answered the call, asked him to come down and see us right away, and promptly got him to a Technician. Mr. Wagner went out to breakfast and returned to a fixed-right-the-first-time vehicle. As a business owner himself, he understands the value of passing along compliments, and he would like us all to know how wonderful Brandon is with the customers. He will now drive the extra distance to give us his business every time.

Dear Mr. Goaty, It was a pleasure speaking with you. Please tell your Scott Team what an excellent job they did. Where do I begin to inform you of two very talented salesmen you have working for you. The “Scott” Team are incredibly skilled and professional while still being politely personable. I would, in a heartbeat, buy another VW from you. On my trip to Florida I was fortunate enough to rent an EOS, a brand new convertible mind you, from Hertz. I believe this car was meant to be a teaser as when I returned it to Hertz it went back to the dealer. However the purpose was served well as I fell in love with the EOS big time for the eight days I rented it. . Both of your Scott’s listened to my experience and seemed to feel my excitement about the car. I did not need to test drive the car with them for I already knew what I wanted. Your dealer ship made the sale easy and I totally felt that either Scott would have bent over backwards to please me. What a neat feeling that was! I must say that I would recommend Scott Cooke to the highest degree. You really need to consider giving the guy a raise. He is very, very expert at his trade. Kudos to him and your dealership. Mary Lowe writes: I was just there getting my car fixed a few weeks ago and have another appointment tomorrow for my radio. But i was extremley surprised on how friendly and helpful your staff was. From the moment i pulled up to the time i left i was greeted like they already knew who I was. They also showed me where the waiting room was told me i was welcome to get coffee or tea and even offered a shuttle service if i didnt want to stay at the dealership. I work at a hotel and know how important it is to have customer service. And everyone there had it, even when i called to schedule an appointment they are so helpful,and make sure i get in to the soonest appointment. Thank you so much for have an OUTSTANDING staff!!!!

On Tuesday September 13th I had an indicator light on my 2009 CC come on shortly before heading back home to Twinsburg. I recently had a low rear tire so I was worried I may be getting a flat. I happened to be passing your dealership at the time and thought I'd stop into your service department for a quick look. I was traveling on business and about 2 hours from my home in the Akron/Cleveland area. I was greeted by Brandon Thayer and he was happy to take a look at my car. In about 5 minutes he notified me that the indicator light was for a burned out tail light. He suggested I buy the parts (roughly $10 for both lights) and he would install them for me. When I asked him how much, he said "no charge". When I asked him how long it would take, he said "10 minutes". I was amazed! I figured he would have to charge me something for the labor and since I didn't have an appointment, I'd have to wait. Within 10 minutes he pulled my car around and had replaced both rear tail lights, put air in all four tires and washed my car!!! I am very particular about keeping my CC washed and waxed and when I saw my car I couldn't believe your service department performed all those services for me at no charge! I've been in the sales and customer service arena for many years. I've been a VW customer for close to 10 years having previously been a strong supporter of Nissan. I've owned a VW Bug, Passat and currently the 2009 CC. I love the quality I get from Volkswagen but more importantly, the level of service. The level of service I received from your dealership far exceeded, the excellent service I have been accustomed to. You should be very proud of your staff and the professionalism they showed me. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated it, especially being so far from home. Please feel free to pass this on to your General Manager and anyone within the VW organization. With all the competitiveness of car manufacturers these days, this type of service is what sets VW apart from the rest. I will be happy to highly recommend your dealership for the service and quality you offer. Thank you, Anne Myers

A few days ago I had difficulty removing the key from the ignition. Your service manager indicated that a technician lived near my home and offered to stop by on his way home to see if he could solve the problem. He did stop by and fixed the problem. This was certainly not expected, but much appreciated.
